Anu Pentik is a designer, ceramic artist and the founder of Pentik. She is an artist whose relationship with clay has lasted for more than half a century. Clay is Anu’s passion, but above all, it is a medium for her endless curiosity, experimentation and discovery.
Her inspiration comes from the northern landscape, colours, travels, memories and life itself. In her hands, clay transforms into emotions and stories. Boldly, uncompromisingly and always in search of something new. Anu does not look back, but towards what has yet to be created.
In Anu’s artistic work, decades of refined craftsmanship meet a powerful inner need to create and a constant desire to evolve. This is where the strength of Anu Pentik’s art lies: in her ability to look at the world with curiosity, experiment fearlessly and transform what she has seen, experienced and felt into form.
