Lichen usually live in rough conditions like tree trunks and rocks. But they can also be picky and need clean air to grow. That´s why they flourish in Finnish nature. While designing the Jäkälä (Lichen) collection, Minna Niskakangas thought her childhood near forests. She painted an organic and ornamental print originally on plywood.
Light brown Jäkälä coated runner is 45x160 cm in size and made of easy-to-care acrylic-coated organic cotton. Gentle wash at 40 degrees. May shrink up to 3 % in the first wash.
