Lichen usually live in rough conditions like tree trunks and rocks. But they can also be picky and need clean air to grow. That´s why they flourish in Finnish nature. While designing the Jäkälä (Lichen) collection, Minna Niskakangas thought her childhood near forests. She painted an organic and ornamental print originally on plywood.
Made of 100 % cotton, light brown Jäkälä fabric is 150 cm in width. The report size is 32 cm. Wash at 60 degrees. May shrink up to 4 % in the first wash.
