Talviomena Plate

With traditional motifs.
Hand-embroidered textiles inherited from previous generations are a common part of the home in the North. Often they are so well-loved and worn by use that it is safest to let them rest in the cupboard. When designing the Talviomena (Winter Apple) collection, Minna Niskakangas dived into the world of embroidery. Painting with watercolours, traditional motifs were transformed into a modern interpretation of these treasures that run in our families. The Talviomena pattern is composed to best suit each product. The colour scheme includes white, blue, red and brown, familiar from traditional Nordic embroidery. The collection's tableware and textiles bring a warm scent of cinnamon and apple to Christmas preparations.

The Tuntu Talviomena plate has a diameter of 15 cm. The plate is machine washable and can be used in the electric oven, baking oven, microwave and freezer. Made in Finland.
