A 50-year journey from ceramics to a way of life
Pentik has been part of homes for over 50 years. Our story began in 1971, when artist Anu Pentik moved with her family to Posio, Finnish Lapland. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, amidst the bright beauty of northern nature. Enchanted by the ever-changing seasons and genuine people, she made it her home. Pentik was born – unique, authentic, and beautiful.

Just like in our ceramics, our patterns also show the mark of craftsmanship, the world as recorded by its creator. Utilizing art techniques and interpreting trends. An idea goes through many pens and brushes before it becomes a final product. Our designers' main task is to bring nature closer to people, into their homes. In forms, colors, patterns, and materials. Our collections change and transform with the rhythm of northern nature, from one season to the next. It is important to us that our products are not only beautiful but also high-quality, long-lasting, and durable.

Our ceramics factory
For half a century, Pentik's home has been located in the small village of Posio, near the Arctic Circle. Here, in the world's northernmost ceramic factory, clay is transformed into something unique – a product made with love. We strongly believe that our ceramic products, crafted by many hands, convey a piece of emotion to their users. From person to person. From generation to generation.
